How to Build Reusable Product Catalogs for Sellers and Campaigns
Create reusable B2B product catalogs so sellers can discover approved products and operators can launch campaigns with consistent data and terms.

Separate the product record from each campaign offer
A sourceable product describes the reusable facts: identity, variants, supply constraints, packaging, and operational notes. A campaign offer describes the commercial decision for a particular selling window: which sellers can participate, which options are available, the local price, and the order deadline.
Keeping those records separate means the same product can appear in multiple campaigns without copying its core information or overwriting terms that belonged to an earlier offer.
Design catalogs for seller decisions
A seller needs more than a product name. The catalog should make it easy to understand whether a product is currently sourceable, what options can be ordered, the applicable commercial terms, and how it can be used in a campaign.
- Use stable product codes and clear variant names.
- Show the availability and lead-time constraints that affect a campaign decision.
- Keep product descriptions and images current so sellers do not rely on unofficial assets.
- Use a campaign to control the date, price, and participating sellers for each offer.
Reduce duplicate setup work
Reusable catalogs give operators a curated starting point when launching a new group purchase. They also create a shared vocabulary between suppliers and sellers, which reduces product matching errors in order imports.
Review catalog data before opening a campaign. A small quality check at this step prevents much larger fulfillment and settlement problems later.
